Ingredients

    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 cup yellow cornmeal
    2 Tbsp granulated sugar
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 egg whites
    1 cup fat free milk
    1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

Directions

In a large bowl combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl combine egg whites, milk and applesauce. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients just until moistened. Bake in a 9 in pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
