Introduction

My Aunt made something like this once but it was with hamburger and it was absolutely delishious. I'm trying to recreate it and make it a bit healthier. Ingredients

    Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey, 16 oz
    Carrots, raw, 4 cup, grated
    Onions, raw, 1 medium
    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 6 cup
    Tomato Sauce, 6 cup
    Garlic, 6 clove
    Beans, black, 1.5 cup

    Salt and Pepper to taste
    1 Bay Leaf
    Thyme to taste

Directions

Brown the turkey with the diced onion and minced garlic. Grate the carrots and add to the mixture. Open all the cans and pour in. Simmer for 30-45 min. or until veggies are tender. Top with cheddar cheese if desired.

Makes 6 hearty 2 cup servings
