Comfort food for the family. Simmers all day and makes it's own creamy delicious gravy. Good any day of the week, not just Sundays. Comfort food for the family. Simmers all day and makes it's own creamy delicious gravy. Good any day of the week, not just Sundays.

This sounds delicious! I do my potroast just like this only I spread brown spicy mustard on the roast and fresh rosemary. Idon't add the soups, and just let the natural juices flow! - 9/27/09

  • Delicious! We were out of celery, so I added mushrooms for flavor. To thicken the gravy, I added some flour towards the end. We'll definitely make this again! - 1/25/11

  • I used this as a basic guide but eliminated the soup and soup mix. I added a can of chicken broth and spices and it was delicious. Threw in an oz of dark chocolate at the end and gravy thickener. We had two meals from it. - 1/13/10
