Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 stalks celery (finely chopped)
    1 large carrot (finely chopped)
    1 medium onion (finely chopped)
    2 cloves of garlic minced
    1 cup long grain rice
    2 cups water
    4 serving sized pork chops
    1 bay leaf
    1tsp parsley
    1tsp honey
    1/8 tsp allspice
    1tbsp cajun seasoning

Directions

1. in a nonstick skillet cook pork chops spinkle cajun seasoning on the pok chops. until browned on both sides and cooked through, remove pork from the skillet.

2. in the same non stick skillet after you have taken the pork out, add all listed vegetable, once vegetables begin to sweat add rice, and water. along with remaining spices.

3. let cook on a medium heat until veggies are tender and the rice is cooked.


serves 4 ( 1 pork chop and 1/4 of the vegetable pilaf)
