Introduction

I got this from another recipe site. They are vegan and yummy. Add raisins or other dried fruit, chocolate chips etc. I got this from another recipe site. They are vegan and yummy. Add raisins or other dried fruit, chocolate chips etc.
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    1/2 c light brown sugar
    1/2 c sugar
    3/4 c unsweetened applesauce
    1 c whole wheat flour
    1 t baking powder
    1 pinch salt
    1 c rolled oats
    cinnamon

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Mix sugars and applesauce.
3. Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well.
4. Add rolled oats.
5. Drop by founded teaspoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
6. Sprinkle with cinamon
7. Bake 10-12 minutes.
8. Makes about 30 cookies if you add raisins.

    I added a handfull of raisins and crushed walnuts. Found the cookies a little too sweet. Next time I''ll cut back on the sugar, but otherwise very, very good! - 2/3/13
