Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 tbs cilantro
    .5 tsp salt
    1 tsp butter
    i lime
    1 cup basmati rice
    1-2 cups water

Directions

melt butter in 2 qt pot over low heat. add lime juice and rice and stir for 1 min. Add water and salt and bring to rolling boil, then cover and reduce to simmer for 25 mins or until rice is tender. add cilantro and fluff with fork. Makes 4 servings.

    Agree that it was pretty bland. I upped the amount of lime and cilantro to help a little. I'll mess with the recipe until I get it right for my family's tastes. Thanks for sharing! - 6/30/10

    O.K.
    I thought this was just ok. It was pretty bland on its own, but went well with a chicken dish I made. Also, I had to cook it much longer than the stated 25 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes before it was done. - 4/17/09

    it's VERY similar to both Qdoba and the other burrito palces! I Love it !
