-
- 1 package Morningstar Farms Meal Starters Crumbles
- 2 cups Swanson Veggie Broth
- 2 cans America's Choice Chunky-Style Tomatoes
- 1 can America's Choice Tomato Paste
- 1 can America's Choice Stewed Italian Tomatoes

- 1 can Goya Red Kidney Beans
- 5 cups mixed dried beans, soaked overnight
- 1.5 cups fresh celery, chopped
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 package Ass Kickin' Chili Fixin's
Directions
Makes approx. 6 1-cup servings.
Soak dried beans overnight, drain, and cover with fresh water again.
Simmer the beans on a low boil for 2-3 hours or until almost soft, making sure the beans are always covered with water.
Saute the onion and garlic in olive oil and remove from the pan. In the same pan, prepare the Morningstar meal crumbles. Mix the crumbles, onion and garlic together in a large cooking pot.
Gently stir in the tomato paste, veggie broth, stewed tomatoes, drained beans, vegetables and the chili seasoning packet.
Add a 1/2 package of the Habanero pepper spice pack to the chili for medium heat, or the whole packet for ass kickin' heat.
Simmer for at least 30 minutes.
For thicker chili, add masa corn flour. Mix enough of the flour with water to make a pourable mixture & stir slowly into the chili until the thickness is right for you. Simmer at least another 15 minutes.
