Ingredients

10oz Green Beans
2tbs sunflower oil
1 medium onion
1tsp grated ginger root
1 garlic clove, crushed
1tsp salt
1.5ml Tumeric
2 tomatoes
1 lb lean beef, cubed
2 pints water
1 tbs fresh coriander
1 red pepper
2 Green chillies
Directions
1, Cook the green beans in a saucepan of boiling salted water for about 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
2, Heat the oil on a large saucepan and fry sliced until golden.
3, Mix together the ginger, garlic, chilli powder, salt, tumeric, and chopped tomatoes. Spoon into the onions and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes.
4, Add the beef and stir-fry for a further 3 minutes. Pour in the water bring to the boil and lower the heat. Cover and cook for about 45-60 minutes until most of the water has evaporated and the meat is tender.
5, Add the green beans and mix everything together well.
6, Finally add the red pepper, fresh coriander and chopped green chilies and cook for a further 7-10 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve hot with wholemeal chapatis.
