Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 - 3 oz. turkey breast, pounded thin
1 piece of low carb bread, toasted
    1 tsp. olive oil
    Splash of skim milk
    1 cup green beans
    1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
    1/8 tsp onion powder
    1/4 tsp basil flakes
    1/16 tsp garlic powder

Directions

Put the toasted bread into a food processor along with the spice combination and blend into a fine crumb.
Add a splash of the skim milk (enough to make the breadcrumbs stick together) and mix.
Stuff half of the turkey breast with the stuffing and fold over the other half on top (like you would a dumpling).
Pin the turkey breast closed with the toothpicks.
Cover and fry in a skillet with the oil. Turn the chicken once, when it is golden brown on one side.
Serve with cooked grean beans and unsweetened applesauce.

I intend to make this recipe for dinner tonight for my hubby and myself. Noone says you cannot have thanksgiving in September, right? It sounds easy and tasty. - 9/16/10

    Very Good
I have a very similar recipe, and your calorie count is off (didn't include all ingredients). May want to do a quick edit to fix... The correct calories should be around 140 without the green beans or applesauce. Other than that though, its a very yummy recipe, well worth the work. - 10/3/09
