Introduction

This is a quick and easy meal. Serve the chicken meat with tortillas to make chicken tacos. This is a quick and easy meal. Serve the chicken meat with tortillas to make chicken tacos.

Ingredients

    2 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
    1 packet taco seasoning
    1 cup picante sauce
    1/2 cup fat free shredded cheese (I like cheddar)
    1/4 cup fat free sour cream

    Flour tortillas

Directions

Spray the inside of your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray. Add the chicken breasts and cover them with the taco seasoning and salsa.

Cook on low for 8 hours. When the chicken is finished, shred the meat with a fork. Add cheese and sour cream to the mixture.

Serve with flour tortillas and any other "fixings" you'd like to go with the tacos.

Variation: occasionally, I add a bag of whole kernel corn to the chicken meat while it is cooking.
