Introduction

Cold tuna salad, or storm food. I grew up eating this a lot when the power would go out during a winter storm. We could make this and put the bowl in the snowbank to stay cold. Ingredients

    6 oz. shell noodles
1 can of tuna in water, drained
    1 can of peas, drained

1 tbs of miracle whip (per serving)

Directions

Boil shell noodles. Drain and rinse noodles and put them in large bowl. Add drained tuna and peas, stir until well mixed. Add miracle whip to disired consistancy. I usually mix when ready to eat with 1 tbs to extend the life of the salad.

You may add salt, pepper or garlic powder to taste.

I make this salad all the time I wanted to make sure the recipe was not already in the recipe site. If you have family members who don't like tuna chicken works great. - 3/23/11
