Introduction

If using fruity yogurt you can add 0.5 cups chocolate chips, dried fruits. or nuts to the bread. If using fruity yogurt you can add 0.5 cups chocolate chips, dried fruits. or nuts to the bread.

Ingredients

    1.5 cup all purpose flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 pinch of salt
    3 eggs
    0.5 cups yogurt (lowfat Kefir works well too)
    0.5 cups olive oil
    1 cup sugar
    0.25 tsp vanilla extract
    0.25 tsp lemon juice
    0.5 cup chocolate chips or dried fruit or nuts (optional)

Directions

Combine dry ingredients together except for the sugar (sift the flour and add baking powder and salt)
Combine wet ingredients and sugar and then when well mixed combine with dry ingredients
Bake at 325degrees F for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean
