Introduction

A healthier french fry alternative. A healthier french fry alternative.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 large yams
1 tbsp grapeseed or olive oil
    1 tbsp sea salt
    1 tsp fresh cracked pepper
    1 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp garlic powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 425.
Peel and slice yams into long thin fries. Put into a bowl and add remaining ingredients. Mix well making sure all the yam fries are coated. Place a cooling rack on top of a baking sheet. Add yams on the rack in a single layer. (Using a rack helps air to circulate, so the yams don't get too soggy, and you don't have to flip them). Bake in oven for about 25-30 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes approximately 4 side servings.
