Ingredients
-
2 Tbsp Corn Starch
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
2 Tbsp butter
2 cups shredded or 8 oz cheese any mix of your favorite
8 oz your favorite pasta (don't cook quite all the way)
Directions
Start cooking the pasta.
Set the oven to 375 degrees.
While the pasta is cooking (only a little over half way)
in a separate pot combine the corn starch, salt, dry mustard, and the pepper.
Slowly add the milk to it, cook over a med-high heat and stir constantly until it just comes to a boil.
Remove milk mixture from the heat and add 1 3/4 cups of the cheese and mix in until it melts.
Drain the pasta.
After the cheese melts, mix it together with the pasta then put all that in a casserole dish. You may want to lightly grease the dish.
Top it with the remaining cheese and bake uncovered for about 25 minutes, it should be lightly browned.
PS: I had some frozen meatballs on hand. Defrosted them first and cut them into fourths, then mixed them in with the pasta and cheese before baking.
