Introduction

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2Carrots, chopped,
    1 small Onions, Chopped
    3 stalk, medium Celery, raw,
    1 cup Clams,meat and Juice,
    1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream,
    1 tbsp Thyme, ground,
    1 tsp Garlic powder,
    2 tbsp Bay Leaf, , Whole
    1 tsp Pepper, black,
    1/3 C. Balsamic Vinegar,
    4 Potato,Cooked and Diced
    Half and Half Cream, 2 cup
    1 tbsp Butter, salted,
    1/2 C Flour, white, .

Directions

Sautee butter with the veggies (Carrots, onions, celery) Once nearly done add the dry spices sautee for another 5 min Thicken with the Flour to make a roux. Add the Cream and Half and Half. end by adding the potaotes and the vinegar -- This recipe is also good in the crockpot. *** DO NOT add the vinegar too early or the milk with curdel Remove the bay leaves before eating
Makes 12 serving 1Cup Each

    Very Good
    I do like a little bacon in this recipe--it adds a few more calories but I would cut back on the "real cream" for some low fat milk and it will still be good. - 1/29/09
