Introduction

More tangy than sweet! Loaded with fiber, potassium, and protein. I sometimes use this as a meal replacement if my carbs are good for the day but I need some calories or protein. Ingredients

    1 cup plain soymilk
1 cup lowfat plain yogurt (227g)
1 cup plus 2 tblsp. unsweetened frozen blueberries (200g)
    1/2 cup lowfat buttermilk
5 rounded tablespoons chocolate soy protein powder. (60g)

Directions

Pulse all ingredients in a blender until the blueberries are fairly well chopped up, then puree for 30 seconds or until desired texture and thickness. (More blending means thinner smoothie. Important to know if you drink it through a straw!)

For variety, I'll sometimes add more blueberries, a splash of orange juice, or chocolate soy protein powder mix.

Makes 4 one cup servings.

MY INGREDIENTS:
I use Stonyfield Farms yogurt, Silk Plus Omega-3 DHA soymilk, and chocolate Genisoy Soy Protein Shake. All three are available at my local Kroger.
