Introduction

This is a very moist meatloaf that has a very good flavor. It is very easy to make and cooks up in a little over an hour. This is a very moist meatloaf that has a very good flavor. It is very easy to make and cooks up in a little over an hour.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 # of venison or ground beef
    1 cup chopped onions
    1 cup dry quick oats
    2/3 cup of chopped green peppers
    3 chopped cloves of garlic
    8 oz. of Natural Fat Free Applesauce
    3/4 cup of chopped celery
    1/3 cup of tomatoe sauce
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    Mix well and pour into a large loaf pan to bake.

    After these ingredients bake for one hour, make a paste of:

    3/4 cup of catsup
    1 Tablespoon of Honey
    1/3 cup of brown sugar and pour on top of meat loaf. Continue to bake for another 15 minutes and serve hot.

Directions

Makes 8 slices which equal about a cup of meatloaf.

    It doesn't say but I'm going to put the oven on at 350 degrees. I hope it's tasty as applesauce is a really different ingredient in meatloaf. - 10/5/10
