Introduction

Nice salisbury steak in traditional tomato sauce. Very easily converted to brown gravy. Don't add the tomato paste and add some flour or corn starch to thicken the sauce in its place. Ingredients

    1 pound ground turkey
    1 tbsp cider vinegar
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 pkg. herb-ox sodium free beef bouillon
    1 6oz can no salt added tomato paste
    1 cup water
    3 tsp Mrs. Dash Onion and Herb
    2 tsp Mrs. Dash Italian Seasoning

Directions

Mix the turkey, vinegar and Mrs. Dash Onion and Herb seasoning. Form 4 patties. Place in a non stick skillet and cook about 3 minutes each side. Remove patties from the pan. Add garlic and mushrooms to the pan and saute about 5 minutes. Add the bouillon, water. tomato paste and Mrs. Dash Italian Seasoning. Blend well until low boil. Return the patties to the pan. Spoon some of the sauce over the patties. Cover and simmer about 8 minutes. Makes 4 - 1 patty servings.
