Introduction

Definitely a special occasion dinner, and my husbands favorite for Valentines Day. Good with garlic roasted fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Definitely a special occasion dinner, and my husbands favorite for Valentines Day. Good with garlic roasted fingerling potatoes and asparagus.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4-4 ounce filet mignon steaks
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp Gorgonzola, crumbled
    3 Tbsp Cream Cheese
    1 Tbsp minced green onion

Directions

Season steak with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Rub seasonings into steaks well.

On a broiler pan, broil each steak until done to your liking. (about 2 minutes per side for medium rare).

While broiling, Mix gorgonzola, cream cheese, and green onion. When steaks are done, remove pan from oven and top each steak with 1 tablespoon of this mixture. Return to oven and broil until topping begins to melt and brown. Watch carefully!

Serving is 1 steak per person.
