Ingredients

cut up chicken parts- 8 pieces
1 clove garlic minced
2 large onions, sliced thin
1 Tbsp paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup homemade chicken stock
2-4 tbsp. sour cream
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Pat chicken dry with paper towel. Use fingers to spread garlic underneath skin on breasts and thighs
2.Mix with paprika, salt and 1/4 cup water in a small roasting pan. Add sliced onions. Toss , then top with chicken, and cook in oven for about
10 minutesat 450. Lower heat to 375 and cook about 30-40 minutes, until internal temperture on a meat thermometer reaches 175 degrees.
3.Remove chicken, cover with foil wrap and let rest for 10 minutes. Skim fat from onion mixture.Add chicken stock to pan and place on stove. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to loosen brown bits. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Serve chicken with onions spooned on top.
