Introduction

I love green bean casserole, but the original kind is full of fat and calories. You can use french onion soup in place of the soup mix packet if you like. This is a great substitue and works well for holidays and every day dinner. I love green bean casserole, but the original kind is full of fat and calories. 1 tsp. each of black and red pepper(opt.)

I am going to try frozen green beans but I will cook them first. It will reduce that high sodium level. Also, I do not add the soup mix which will reduce the sodium - 11/17/10
