    1-1/2 lbs. venison sausage or just ground
    1-1/4 cups sliced carrots
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 cups frozen corn
    2 cups cooked pinto beans
    1 quart canned tomatoes
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 head (about 3-1/2 qts. chopped) cabbage
    1-1/2 qts. water
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 T. beef base


In a large kettle, brown venison. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour or until vegetables are tender. Makes about 20-1/2 cups.
