Introduction

These make a satisfying and healthy alternative to regular chips/ fries. VERY tasty and quick to make in the microwave. These make a satisfying and healthy alternative to regular chips/ fries. VERY tasty and quick to make in the microwave.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 Large Potatoes skin on
    2 Cloves of Garlic, peeled and crushed or sliced finely.
    Fresh Thyme 1 Tbsp or Tsp of Ground Thyme.
    1 Tsp Paprika
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil.
    Salt
    Chopped Chilli (optional).

Directions

1. Wash and prick the potatoes
2.Place the potatoes into the microwave for 10 minutes (or until semi cooked) turning once. Meanwhile preheat oven to gas Mark 8.
3. Remove from microwave and slice into wedges place in a large baking dish/ tray- careful they will be hot!!! Lol.
4. Mix all the other ingredients together and pour over the potatoes, mix until they are covered in the seasoned oil.
6. Place in over for fifteen minutes stiring once. They should be crisp and golden and very delicious. Enjoy :-)

    Incredible!
    i am making this recipe tonight! i made this with a bit of different seasoning ( seasoned salt and cajun were added ), i wasnt too sure of what gas mark 8 was, but i put it to the standard 350 and it took about 15-20 minutes as well. they turned out amazing!! i will be making these again for sure! - 9/8/09
