this is a cake for those with allergies.     1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup cocoa
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup water
    1/2 cup vegetable oil (or applesauce)
    1 teaspoon white vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

serves 6 and bake at 350 degrees.
