Ingredients

    1/2 cup dry medium grind bulgar
    1 can black beans(can be subbed for any bean) very well rinsed and drained
    1/4 cup breadcrumbs
    3 tbsp chopped onion
    2 garlic cloves
    Egg Whites(equivalent to 1 egg)
    1 medium carrot, grated
    2 Tbsp tahini

Directions

Mix bulgar with 1 cup of boiling water. Cover for 30mins and drain and push out excess liquid.
Mash beans until forms a coarse paste then add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg whites, carrot, tahini, bulgar, and black pepper and cayenne.
Use a 1/2 cup measuring cup to portion patties.

Makes 6 patties.
