Introduction

A delicious one pot meal that can be changed to anyones preferences. I added diced tomatoes or beans to the base and it is always great. A delicious one pot meal that can be changed to anyones preferences. I added diced tomatoes or beans to the base and it is always great.

Ingredients

    8 1 cup servings
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 cup sweet corn
    1 can tomato soup
    1/4 cup diced green pepper
    3 tblspoon onion
    1 box Jiffy yellow cornbread


Directions

brown ground beef, green peppers and onions in a skillet. drain grease. Mix in 1 cup corn, 1 can of tomato soup and 1/4 cup of water. Chili pepper to taste(this can be as spicy or mild as you like it). Let simmer over low heat for 5-10 min. Mix Jiffy Cornbread according to instructions on box. Pour cornbread over groundbeef mixture and place in oven. Cook according to cornbread instructions or until cornbread is brown on top and done.
