Ingredients

    1 whole wheat tortilla
    1/4 c. pizza sauce
    1 oz. part skim mozerella cheese, shredded
    fresh sliced mushrooms, tomatoes, onions--your favorites thinly sliced or diced

Directions

1tortilla makes one serving.
Preheat oven or large toaster oven to 400 degrees
1. Spray an iron skillet or oven proof dish with cooking spray. Heat on top of stove, add whole wheat tortilla. Turn tortilla when it puffs and starts browning.
2. After turning spread with pizza sauce, topping and cheese. Cook tortilla until brown on bottom.
3. Slide into oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
4. Slice into pizza slices, or fold and cut into quesidilla slices.

    Instead of cooking at 400 for 5 minutes, I broiled these with the oven door slightlly open so I could pull them out when the tortilla's turned golden brown around the edges. Very good!! - 6/1/09

    I bet with low-fat tortillas and marinara sauce instead of pizza sauce, the fat content could be reduced even further! I really love making these! - 3/21/07
