Ingredients

    6 ounces of spaghetti, cut into small lengths
    2 cups diced cooked ham
    3 tbs butter
    4 to 6 ounces mushrooms, sliced
    4 to 6 ounces green onions, trimmed, thinly sliced
    4 tbs flour
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 cup milk
    1/2 tsp seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp garlic seasoned pepper
    dash cayenne, as desired
    1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water, following package directions. Drain and rinse in hot water; combine with ham in a large bowl.
Heat butter over medium low heat; add sliced mushrooms;cook stirring frequently untill mushrooms are tender; add green onions. Stir in flour until blended in thoroughly. Gradually stir in chicken broth and milk. Add salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Taste and add more salt and pepper, as needed.stir into the spaghetti and ham mixture; stir in cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, until bubbly and cheese is melted. Serves 6;

    Very Good
    Roommate and I really liked this. I did see the review saying too much cholesterol but I use Shedd Spread instead of butter, Nonfat milk vs. whole, and low fat cheese. I'm sure that cut back on some of the cholesterol and the calories. - 1/28/15
