Introduction

I use Whiting Fish, but could likely use others. This is a great way to get your fish in, and doesn't taste fishy at all! I use Whiting Fish, but could likely use others. This is a great way to get your fish in, and doesn't taste fishy at all!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Whiting (fish), 2 fillet
*McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning, 0.75 tsp
    Parsley, dried, .5 tsp
    Thyme, ground, .25 tsp
    Paprika, .25 tsp
    *Onion powder, .125 tsp
    Garlic powder, .125 tsp

Directions

*Place fillets in a greased 11 x 7 baking dish. Drizzle with butter. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; sprinkle over fillets.

*Cover and bake at 425 for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 5-8 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

*Yields 2 Serivings

(It also says to put melted butter on top of the fish prior to the seasoning. I leave this off and it is NOT calculated in the calories. I also use a dash of onion salt instead of powder because thats what I have, and then I don't use salt.)

(FYI .125 tsp means 1/8)

    Incredible!
This is a quick, easy, great recipe! The only other way I had ever eaten whiting fish was deep fried. This is absolutely delicious. If you do not have the exact seasonings on hand, just about any seasoning you use in this manner will work fine! Excellent! - 1/14/16

YUM! This was delicious! I bought some Whiting on sale this week, and I don't really like fish but thought that this would be healthy. This recipe turned Whiting into something that I loved to eat! Thanks! - 5/23/12

    Very Good
The only seasonings listed that I had on hand was the thyme and powdered garlic. So I mixed those with old bay, dried basil, and cajun seasoning. It was awesome! (Only other way I've ever had whiting was deep fried) - 8/28/11
