Ingredients

    3 Cup oats
    1/2 cup millet (uncooked)
    1/2 cup dessicated coconut
    1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup flax or ground flax
1/4 cup oat bran or wheat germ
    1/2 cup pecans
    1/2 t ground nutmeg
    1/4 t ground cloves
    1/2 t ground cardamon
    dash of salt
    1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup agave nectar or maple syrup
    orange juice

Directions

Heat Oven to 300-375f. Combine all ingredients. No need to cook the millet - it goes in raw as well. Drizzle in Agave Nectar - can use maple syrup too. If you need more liquid add orange juice.
Spread the mix out into a large baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, checking and stirring occassionally so that nothing burns. Add in raisins and bake until granola is golden. You can put the heat up to 375 for the last ten minute - but you need to monitor it. Store in sealed container, great with Fage yogurt.

    If 1/4 cup = 106 calories, then 2 tbsp has to be 53, not 42, calories. 1/4 cup = 4 tbsp. Yes? - 8/21/09
