Ingredients

    Mix 1 C flour
    1/3 C +1 Tablespoon Crisco shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    Blend flour into crisco.
    Add 4-5 Tablespoon COLD water, form a soft ball.
    Roll out pie crust and put into a 9" deep dish pie plate.

    Blend 1 can Libby 100% pumpkin pie filling
    1 C. granulated sugar
    1 can Carnation Evaporated milk
    2 fresh eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Directions

Make pie crust in deep dish pie plate.
Mix all ingredients together for pie filling.
pour into unbaked pie crust
Bake 425 oven for 15 minutes.
then reduce oven temp to 350 for 50 min.
Test center of pie with knife. If knife comes out clean pie is done.
Enjoy.

    Yummy! And why not do the real thing..it has good nutritional value, and it's delicious..just don't over indulge. I cooked my pumpkin from scratch this year.. then YIKES!! I remembered I always read the recipe off the can. Glad to find it here. - 11/23/12
