Introduction

This recipe is prepared according to the package directions except that I have reduced the servings from 1 cup to 1/2 cup. You could also reduce the margarine used, which would reduce the calories and fat but this recipe uses the amounts as directed on the package. Ingredients

    6 cups water
    KRAFT® Macaroni & Cheese Dinner, Original Flavor, 7.25 oz box
    4 Tablespoons margarine (65% Vegetable Oil Spread)
    1/4 cup 1% milk

Directions

Bring 6 cups of water to boil in a medium saucepan. Add macaroni only (not sauce packet) and boil for 7-8 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Drain. Do not rinse.

Add 4 Tablespoons margarine, 1/4 cup 1% milk and the cheese sauce packet to the hot macaroni. Stir until thoroughly mixed.

Serve hot. Makes six 1/2 cup servings.
