Introduction
This is a great substitute for take-out, and much better for you!! Even the left-overs are terrific. I serve this dish over whole wheat noodles (lo-mein style) or brown rice (brown rice adds 100 calories per serving). Either way this recipe is filling and packed with flavor! Ingredients

3 Tbsp Cornstarch (divided)
1/2 Cup Beef Broth
2 Tbsp Beef Broth
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Clove Garlic (chopped)
1 lb Beef Round or Flank Steak cut in strips
2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
4 Cups Broccoli Florets
1 Sm. Onion or bunch of Green Onion (chop)
1/3 Cup Lite Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Ground Ginger
1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
4 cups cooked whole wheat linguine or spaghetti pasta
Directions
1. In large bowl whisk 2 tbsp cornstarch, 2 tbsp beef broth, and garlic powder. Add steak, toss.
2. In med (separate) bowl whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1/2 c. beef broth, chopped garlic and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
3. At med-high heat, add 1 tbsp sesame oil to large skillet (or wok). Stir-fry steak to desired doneness. Remove and keep warm.
4. Stir-fry broccoli and onion in remaining tbsp sesame oil for 4-5 min.
5. Return the cooked steak to the skillet.
6. Add the soy sauce mixture that was set aside earlier to the skillet. Stir and cook for two minutes or until thickened.
7. Quarter, and serve over 1 cup cooked whole wheat linguine or spaghetti pasta.
