Ingredients




    Oats, 1.75 cup (remove)
    *Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup (remove)
    Baking Powder, .75 tsp (remove)
    Baking Soda, .5 tsp (remove)
    *Splenda No Calorie Sweetener, 15 tsp (remove)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp (remove)
    Motts Natural Apple Sauce, 4 oz snack cup, .25 cup (remove)
    *Egg white, 2 serving (remove)
    imperial non hydrogenated, 3 serving (remove)
    *Bob's Red Mill Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal, 2 Tbsp., 1 serving (remove)
    Dates, .25 cup, pitted, chopped (remove)
    Almonds, .25 cup, slivered (remove)
    Cinnamon, ground, 2 tbsp (remove)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350*. Line 2 pans with foil. Combine oats, flour, flaxseed, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.

Beat egg white with splenda sugar substitute, vanilla, apple sauce and margaine for 1 minute. Add oat mixture and dates and almond slivers.

Drop mixture by tablespoon 2 inches apart onto pans.
Bake between 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool completely.....NOTE: you can switch out the dates and almonds for any other combo you feel you will enjoy, just account for the calorie difference, this is a great low fat tasty cookie.
