Introduction

I love this, I use low fat cream cheese but you could use fat free. I love this, I use low fat cream cheese but you could use fat free.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
    1 can healthy request cream of mushroom soup
    1 8 oz package reduced fat cream cheese
    1.5 cups of water
    1 packet good season italian dressing mix

Directions

Add chicken, water and good seasons to your crockpot, let cook for 4 hours on low. About 1 hour before serving pull chicken out of fluids and shred. Add back chicken, add cream cheese and cream of mushroom soup, mix well.

Serve of egg noodle, rice or veggies. Delish!

    This was very good. My husband commented on it a couple of times as to how good it was. I used the no fat cream cheese as was mentioned and also the low fat cream soup. I also found a recipe similar to "Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix" & was able to reduce the salt by half by doing that. - 3/1/10

    I made this yesterday for diiner but omitted the water to make it a little thicker. Hubbie and five-year both loved it! I served it over some whole wheat penne and broccoli. Would definitely serve again or to company. - 8/27/09

    This was really good. I didn't even anticipate how good it was going to be. I added some canned mushrooms at the end and had it over spaghetti squash roasted with garlic and freshly cracked black pepper. I'll make it again. - 7/4/11
