this is my take on Leberklosse, a liver meatball in beef broth. this is my take on Leberklosse, a liver meatball in beef broth.
Number of Servings: 3


    4 oz (1/4lb) liver sausage
    1 egg white
    1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
    1 tablespoon parsley
    1 tablespoon ketchup
    2 cups fat free low sodium beef broth
    1 pkt sodium free instant beef broth
    (mixed in 1 cup water)
    .5 tsp onion powder
    .5 tsp garlic powder


makes three servings
(1serv=cup broth +4 meatballs)

put all broth and water in pot and set to simmer

mix liver sausage, egg white, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, onion, ketchup, form into twelve 1 inch balls.

drop balls into broth and simmer 5 minutes, serve with additional parsley garnish

add pepper to taste.
