Ingredients



    * Bread, mixed-grain (includes whole-grain, 7-grain), 8 slices - lightly toasted OR left out 24 hrs on a wire cooling rack. Cut into 1/2" cubes.
    * Milk, 1%, 1.5 cup
    * Butter, salted, 4 tbsp
    * Egg, fresh, 5 large
    * Granulated Sugar, 1.5 cup
    * Salt, .25 tsp
    * Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    * *Rhubarb, 4 cup, diced
    * Brown Sugar, .5 cup, unpacked
    * Pecans, .25 cup, chopped

Directions

1. Put bread cubes in a greased 2 1/2 qt casserole.
2. Melt butter with milk in saucepan.
3. Pour over bread and let sit for 15 minutes.
4. Mix together the eggs, sugar,salt, and cinnamon.
5. Stir in rhubarb.
6. Stir into bread mixture.
7. Top with raw sugar and pecans.
8. Bake at 350F 55-60 minutes until set.
9. Serve warm.
