Ingredients

    10 C torn mixed salad greens
    1 C chopped red or Granny Smith apple
    1 C cubbed or shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 C chopped walnuts or pecans, toasted
    2/3 C honey
    2 T apple cider vinegar
    3/4 tsp celery seed
    1 tsp ground mustard
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1 tsp minced onion
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 C olive oil

Directions

In a large salad bowl, combine salad greens, apple, cheese and walnuts. In a food processor, combine honey, vinegar, celery seed, ground mustard, paprika, lemon juice, onion and salt. Blend ingredients together until well mixed. With machine still running, gradually add oil in a steady stream and process until dressing is well combined. Serve the dressing on the side with the salad.
