  • I didn't know if it would be okay to use a fresh banana in a jello mold, because bananas go mushy and brown so quickly. So I checked here on SparkRecipes, and obviously it is! So I made "my" jello dessert today, and added banana to the recipe - DELICIOUS! - 8/19/10
