Introduction

This is a creamy stew beef and mushrooms to go over broad noodles. It's excellent as left overs.This is a double batch. Cook meat and mushrooms in slow cooker, make the noodles separately. Ingredients

    2 lbs Beef Stew Meat - Cut up chuck or pot roast into small bite size pieces. Sometimes the store cuts the pieces too big and you end up eating more than you're supposed to.
    2 - 4 oz cans mushrooms
    2 - Cans Campbells Healthy request or low sodium Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 - packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    1 cup water

    1- package No Yolks broad noodles - prepare as directed

Directions

Get out your slow cooker and set it on the low setting.
Mix together in slow cooker, 2 cans of Campbells Healthy Cream of Mushroom soup, 2 cans of mushrooms, 1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix and 1 cup of water. Stir together until all ingredients are blended. Then add 2lbs of beef stew meat. Make sure stew beef is cut into small bite pieces. Sometimes the store chops the meat too big to measure for a good portion.

Mix again covering all meat with mushroom soup mixture. Cover with lid and cook for 8 hours on low and 5 hours on high. Stir occaisonally, if you are home.

Make 1 package of No Yolks broad noodles as directed.

Serve 1/2 cup of noodles with 1 cup of meat/mushroom mixture for one serving of recipe. Makes 10 servings.

    I loved this! I used fresh mushrooms instead of canned, very delic! Also made some mashed potatoes instead of using noodles. Very filling! Family loved it! - 6/10/10

    I made this one day I put everything in the crockpot, went to work and the gym came home and my supper was ready. This is very good I will make it again - 8/7/09

    This was AWESOME! Everyone in the family soaked up all the juices on their plate with the french bread I served with it!The only things I did different was added fresh mushrooms instead of canned and added about a 1/2 a cup of flour to make it a little less soupy. - 8/2/09
