Introduction

I use the seasoning blend for convenience. Use fresh chopped onion, green pepper, and celery (1/2 c. to 1 c. each) if desired. Serve with hot sauce (Iike Frank's!) Ingredients

    12 oz bag Pictsweet Seasoning Blend, rinsed & drained
    2 14 oz bags medium, raw shrimp, thawed
    4 T extra virgin olive oil
    2 c. uncooked instant rice
    2 8oz cans Red Gold tomato sauce (or similar)
    2 t. sugar
    2 t. salt

Directions

Saute veggies and shrimp in oil for 15 minutes. Add rice, tomato sauce, sugar, and salt. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
