Ingredients

4 fish filets of your choice 1 large onion chopped 1 Tablesoon(or less)country crock spread (or butter).I use margarine.
1 lemon cut in half , 4 pinches sea salt , 1 tsp or less,creole seasoning (I use Tony Chachere's) , black pepper (optional)
Directions
makes 4 4oz. servings preheat oven to 450 degrees Rinse and dry fish and set on plate in frig. Put butter in saute pan along with onions.Saute until onions start to become clear. Add juice from 1/2 lemon to the onions and continue to saute until all onions are clear and soft. Remove from heat. Spread onions on the bottom of a baking dish the right size to hold the fish in single row. Sprinkle fish with salt, pepper and creole seasoning.Place fish next to each other on top of the onions.Squeeze the other 1/2 lemon over top of the fish .Bake in 450 degree ove n for 10 to 15 min. or until flaky. Do not overcook. Serve with a large salad of your choice.

I hope you enjoy this recipe. Remember, you can adjust the seasoning to your own prefrences with any recipe. My husband likes the flavor of the onions but doesn't eat them, so I eat all the onions.You can use less if you wish. Enjoy!
