Ingredients

    1/2 cup olive oil
    8 garlic cloves, minced
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 Tbsp basil
    2 tsp mint
    6#10 oz can tomatoes (San Marzano are best)

Directions

Saute garlic and onion in olive oil. Add herbs and tomatoes and simmer 1/2 hour. Puree in blender or food processor.
