    14 oz butterball turkey polska kielbasa
    1 lb. sauerkraut
    3 small apples sliced thinly
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 cup apple juice


Rinse sauerkraut and squeeze dry. Cut sausage into 2 inch pieces. Put 1/2 the sauerkraut in the bottom of your slow cooker. Add the sausage pieces on top. Continue to layer remaining ingredients in order listed. Top with remaining kraut. Do not stir the layers. Cover. Cook on high for 4 hours, or 6-7 hours on low. Stir before serving.

  • I made this about a week ago, and it was very good. I have a very picky boyfriend that hates sauerkraut. I made it and he loved it!! It is so easy. I didn't use the brown sugar because I didn't have any, but it was still awesome. Thanks Wilben, I will be making this again and again - 3/1/10
