Ingredients

    90% lean ground beef, 1 pound (16 oz.)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped
    Tomatoes, red, ripe, 3 cups, finely chopped-reserve juice or 32 oz. red, ripe, canned, no salt added, 3 cup-finely chopped
    Rice-Instant Brown, 1 cup uncooked
    Water- 1 1/2 cups
    Chili powder, 1 tsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
    Garlic-minced 1 tbsp
    Cumin, ground, 1/2 tsp
    Butter, I can't believe it's not butter light, 1 tbsp
    Pepper, black, 1/8 tsp
    Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp
    Celery, raw, 1/2 cup, minced
    Hot sauce-a dash if desired

Directions

1) Brown ground beef, onion, green pepper, and celery..
2) Stir remaining ingredients in a seperate bowl. Add to meat mixture.
3) Bring to a boil. Cover.
4) Stirring occasionally, reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, or until rice and tomatoes are tender.
5) Check occasionally-add water if needed.
