Introduction

This is the recipe from the back of the bag. I am adding it here to calculate nutrtional information only. Instead of using 12 oz chorizo or Italian Sausage - we used a combo of Morningstar Crumbles and chopped up black bean burger patty. Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    Simply Potatoes Southwestern Style Hash Browns (1 serv = 2/3c) (7 servings per bag), 7 serving (remove)
    *Morningstar Farms Spicy Black Bean Burger, 1 patty, 1 serving (remove)
    Morningstar Farms Meal Starters Grillers Recipe Crumbles (1 serv = 2/3c) (6 servings per bag), 3 serving (remove)
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.75 cup, chopped (remove)
    *Cheddar Cheese, Kroger shredded Sharp Cheddar, 2.00 cup (remove)
    Egg, fresh, 4 large (remove)
    Milk, nonfat, 1 cup (remove)
    Mushrooms, canned, 1 cup (remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove)

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350. Spray 8 or 9 inch square baking dish wih nonstick cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet cook sausage (or substitute) and green pepper (and mushrooms or other add-in veggies) over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes or until sausage is browned and cooked through; drain.

2. Place half of the Simply Potatoes in prepared baking dish. Top with half of the sausage and 3/4 cup of chees; repeat.

3. Combine eggs and milk in medium bowl; beat well with fork. Pour egg mixutre evenly over layered mixture in pan. Cover with foil; bake for 45 minutes. ncover, add chopped tomato and remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake, uncovered, for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until knife inserted in cener comes out clean.

4. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
