Introduction




the chilli powder or cayanne pepper makes this brownie give a little kick!

beat sugar and margarine till mixed, add eggs and vanilla, mix,
add dry ingredients. mix gently don't overmix.
spoon into small greased pan (use low fat spray)
cook for 25 minutes or so until edges pull away.

cut into small bite sized pieces and enjoy.

Ingredients

    1/2 cup margarine,
    1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips,
    2 eggs,
    1/2 cup brown sugar,
    1tsp vanilla,
    1cup flour,
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts,
    2 tsp chilli powder or 1.5 tsp cayanne pepper

    Melt butter, add chocolate and stir till melted. cook over low heat .
    Beat the eggs, add sugar and vanilla. mix. Add the chocolate mixture.
    Add flour and nuts and chilli powder. Stir.
    pour into 8 x 8 greased pan.
    Cook at 350' for about 25 min.
    cut into 25 pieces so it is 121 calories per bite.

Directions

8 x 8 " square pan, cut into 25 pieces.

    Very Good
    I made it for a staff dinner with a fiesta theme. Definitely has a unique taste even though not very spicy with the chili powder. This was the average rating for about 15 people. They either liked it or didn't like at all. - 5/6/10
