    1/3 c Italian style bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
    1 Tbsp minced fresh parsely
    1/4 tsp paprika
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 1/2 pounds sea scallops
    1 Tbsp butter or stick margarine, melted
    Cooking spray
    Lemon wedges


1. Preheat broiler
2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag: set aside. Brush scallops with butter. Add scallops to bag, and seal; shake bag to coat.
3. Place breaded scallops on a broiler pain.coated with cooking spray; broil 10 minutes or until done.

Serve scallops immediately with lemon wedges.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size about 6 scallops)

    These were awesome! Dh & I opted to use a mix of panko bread crumbs and Italian bread crumbs...not sure how much of a difference it makes in the nutritional value...but we thought it was worth it! - 4/13/14

    WOW!! very good!! I used panko crumbs and italian seasoning. Did not have to broil but about 7-8 mins. Great recipe will make often!!! - 7/18/12
