Introduction

Had some extra plums from our tree that needed to be dealt with so I made a test batch of sauce that can be used in yogurt, as a topping, or as a syrup for pancakes. Had some extra plums from our tree that needed to be dealt with so I made a test batch of sauce that can be used in yogurt, as a topping, or as a syrup for pancakes.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    16 Itallian Prune Plums
    3 pkt Sweet n Low
    1/4 cup water

Directions

Cut and pit plums into a small/medium sauce pan.
Pour in Sweet n Low.
Add water.
Simmer for 20-25 minutes until plums are soft. Mash with back of spoon or blend in short spurts until desired consistency.
Makes approx 16 servings = 2 Tbsp.
