I start with dry beans so I have better control over the amount of sodium in this dish as well as be able to mix different beans. It's a great way to add fiber and protein to your diet. Sometimes I eat the beans as they are and sometimes I mash them up to make a paste or bean dip. - 4/20/17

    Very Good
I wonder if Downswalker is British? I picked this habit up in the UK. USA beans are different... I always use veggie beans; WW 40 cal thin slc bread; & Smart Balance buttery spread (as much as I can "afford" to use); tomato slice(s) heated up in the egg pan; an egg. - 10/18/09
